An innovative solution for convenient connection to modern transfer columns with digital display, such as Topaz, Nara, Shelf, Livenka and others. Thanks to this device, the connection is carried out without the need to interfere with the electrical wiring, which avoids violation of warranty obligations, similar to CAN crocodiles for connecting to the CAN bus.
This product was developed by Exzotron Technology in response to problems caused by wiring damage by installers, leading to the failure of transfer columns. After the successful introduction of a trial batch of ECS 1.0 pulse Sensors at Topaz shopping mall in various regions two years ago, the device was put into production. The product is successfully used not only in Russia, but also in other CIS countries.
The ECS 1.0 pulse sensor is easily attached with clamps to the signal wire over the insulation and receives one-to-one pulses. These pulses can be directed to any monitoring device or to the Digital EFD indicator to fix the total counter.
The device has two modes of operation:
- A mono signal that changes the voltage relative to the equipment of the measured device.
- A differential signal that changes the polarity of the voltage between the signal wires, for example, for two-phase fuel meter sensors or an RS485 line.
It is also possible to select the output signal:
- Direct (repeating input signal).
- Inverse (with the reverse polarity of the signal).
LEDs are installed on the device board indicating the status of the reader:
- The red LED indicates the availability of power.
- The blue LED indicates the output signal: if it is lit, it means that the output is active.
