Description

The device is used to convert the data received from the RFID tag in the IBUTTON (1-wire) protocol into the LLS (rs485) protocol and then transmit the data to the GLONASS device at the specified address.

Main application options:

  1. Conversion of the data signal in the IBUTTON protocol transmitted over the 1-wire line from the plastic RFID card reader and subsequent transmission of the driver's card number over the RS485 line in the LLS protocol (fuel level sensor protocol).
  2. The need for double identification. Connection of two RFID readers working in the IBUTTON protocol for one car. (for example, on a combine harvester, this is the identification of the driver of the combine harvester and the driver of the car receiving grain, on a tanker truck, this is the driver of the tanker truck and the driver receiving fuel)
  3. Conversion of the IBUTTON signal on the 1-wire line from the contact tag of the trailer device, which are used on tractor agricultural machinery. This situation occurs if the 1-wire input on the GLONASS on-board terminal is already occupied by an RFID reader of plastic cards in order to identify the driver in the cab, or he is physically absent.
  4. In some cases, the task may be to take the tag number from the usual IBUTTON contact key (access tablet) and transfer it to the specified address via the RS 485 bus in the LLS protocol.
    If necessary, transfer many different IBUTTON keys to one GLONASS on-board terminal at the same time. Due to the fact that it is possible to set the LLS address on the controller, we can send up to 16 keys to one RS 485 line in parallel.
  5. Additionally, the converter has a relay with a "dry contact" type output for switching various loads up to 8 amps 220v. When the tag code is identified, the relay is short-circuited.
