Digital fuel consumption controller EFD-02 is used to display information from fuel meters PPO25/PPO40, meters volume and water-meter type meters with a pulse output, as well as on sprayers, including imported ones. Provides electronic calibration and, in addition to the current counter, is equipped with a total counter necessary for accounting.
At the input EFD-02 two pulse inputs, that is, two information channels are used to remove the signal, which allows you to control the direction of rotation. This eliminates the "beat" – receiving false pulses when the tanker is moving, leading to a discrepancy between the meter readings and monitoring data. EFD-02 has a separate digital (pulse) and RS485 outputs for connecting to satellite monitoring terminals (GPS/GLONASS). In addition to the current readings, a total counter can be transmitted via the RS485 output.
On the sides EFD-02 there are 2 buttons:
— Reset button to reset the current counter
— Mode button to switch readings from current to total and vice versa
The device is designed to count fuel using a meter installed in the fuel system. Two accounts are maintained – single distribution and total counter. One-time distribution – displayed with milliliters in the format XXXX.XX If necessary, the distribution counter can be reset by pressing the "Reset" button. Total counter – is not reset and records are kept in liters, displayed as XXXXXX. The instrument can switch between displaying the two modes by pressing the "mode" button.
EFD-02 is protected against « chatter» counter sensor. This protection has a memory of up to 64 reverse impulses. This means that if the sensor wheel has a beat of several pulses in both directions — the device will filter out false pulses. And start counting after it receives several impulses in a row in one direction.
Key features of the product:
— converter to power the connected device 5/12 volts (pulse generator / uss)
— hardware control of the side of rotation (especially relevant for USS)
— total counter
— normalized output (regardless of the current calibration will always output the specified number of pulses per liter to the monitor)
ATTENTION: the device must be powered only through stabilizing transducer.

A new firmware for the EFD indicator has been created with new features:
1. Data transmission on the 485 port of the total counter with an accuracy of 10 grams as on EFR.
2. Entering a calibration factor according to a different principle. (number of milliliters per 1 pulse)
3. Ability to reset to zero on port 485 before issuing fuel.
4. Ability to display any arbitrary number on the screen via port 485. (for the tasks of various process automation)
5. Ability to read or write indicator parameters via port 485.
6. Improved data saving technology during power surges.
